London based artist Jayson Lilley pushes the limits of printmaking with his awe inspiring cityscapes and object based compositions. Combining the precision of screen printing with fluid painterly gestures and hand finished details, Jayson produces atmospheric and intimate portrayals of urban life. The use of culturally significant materials is the basis for Jayson’s object pieces; drawing his own creative vision of London onto the One Pound Note and disrupting the limited and economic world view of the monopoly board - giving shape, vibrancy and personality to places that have to be experienced to be known.
